Antai is a local, family owned Asian and Japanese restaurant in Lexington, South Carolina. If you have not been there yet, you are definitely missing out. Whether you are stopping in for lunch or dinner, or even need an event catered, the owners at Antai provide fresh, homemade food that won’t disappoint. Properly translated, Antai means “In Good Health” and with fresh sushi, steamed shrimp, chicken kebobs, and the best garlic green beans around, there is a wealth of healthy options to choose from.
Start your meal with edamame, spring rolls or a chicken lettuce wrap. Follow that with a house salad featuring either a soy vinaigrette or ginger dressing. Main dish menu items include classic favorites like General Tso’s chicken and Sweet & Sour chicken or pork, grilled items such as flank steak or a shrimp kebob, or house specialties like Honey Walnut Shrimp or Seafood Hot Pot. All main dishes come with either brown rice or the house fried rice. They also have a variety of fresh sushi to choose from; my personal favorites are the Heart of Love Roll and Volcano Roll.
Antai is located on 378 across from Target in McCauley Square at 5084 Sunset Blvd #C. The owners at Antai have great food and friendly service and pride themselves on providing quality food to their patrons. I have been many times and will continue to go back again and again.
